Kentavious Caldwell-Pope will follow in the footsteps of his friend LeBron James.
According to sources close to journalist Chris Haynes, the guard will soon terminate his contract with the Grizzlies to subsequently sign as a free agent with the Philadelphia 76ers.
It should be noted that he is in the last year of a contract valued at $21.62 million.
He arrived at the Tennessee franchise in the summer of 2025 as part of the Desmond Bane deal, which ended with the Orlando Magic.
Last season he played 51 official games with averages of 8.4 points, 2.5 rebounds and 2.7 assists per game.
He has been an NBA champion on two occasions: in 2020 in the NBA Bubble with LeBron on the Lakers, and in 2023 with the Denver Nuggets.
