Tyrese Haliburton has fully recovered from the serious Achilles tendon injury he suffered in Game 7 of the 2025 Finals.
The point guard has recently spoken to the Indianapolis press, insisting that he is eager to return to the court, even though he still isn’t at full strength yet.
“I can assure you that I will be in peak form,” he admitted to the Indianapolis Star.
“I feel great. I’m doing everything. Playing informal scrimmages with considerable regularity… I feel marvelous. I’ll be ready,” he emphasized.
The Pacers’ star will soon travel to Los Angeles to undergo a summer training regimen with other league teammates.
“No matter how much I train, because the first half of the season is really tough,” he admitted.
There is a lot expected from these Pacers, and specifically from Haliburton, when he returns to the floor. They will be asked, at a minimum, to earn a playoff spot in 2027 alongside their teammates Pascal Siakam and center Ivica Zubac.
Before the injury he was averaging 17.3 points, 5.3 rebounds and 8.6 assists in 23 playoff games.
