Ben Simmons is back in the NBA almost two years after his last appearance. He recently reached a one-year deal with the Sacramento Kings.
However, the Australian guard was also close to landing with the Golden State Warriors and the New York Knicks before committing to the California-based franchise.
According to sources close to The Athletic, Simmons held intense talks with both teams; however, it seems the pressure to succeed will be lower with the Kings.
In his last season on the court, he wore the Clippers’ colors, posting averages of 2.9 points, 3.8 rebounds and 3.1 assists in 16.4 minutes per game.
