Kawhi Leonard is reportedly very close to re-signing with the Toronto Raptors, according to journalist Jake Fischer.
After the official confirmation of his trade from the Clippers, following sanctions on the owner and on him, his next move would be to sign a two-year contract for around $126 million.
Kawhi arrives to help lead the Canadian project alongside the young core of Scottie Barnes, RJ Barrett and Immanuel Quickley.
Last season they closed with a positive 46-36 record, finishing fifth in the East and returning to the playoffs after three years without.
It is worth remembering that Kawhi was the Finals MVP in the only title of his career, defeating the Warriors 4-2 in 2019.
