Brandon Miller Signs $209 Million Contract Extension

October 19, 2026

Brandon Miller and the Charlotte Hornets have reached an agreement to extend his contract for five seasons and $209 million, agents confirmed to ESPN.

Having developed at the University of Alabama and selected by the Hornets with the second overall pick in the 2023 Draft, Miller is set to become their new franchise player after LaMelo Ball’s trade this summer.

Miller and his teammate Kon Knueppel will form the cornerstone of Charlotte’s new project, while the team has also added Naz Reid and extended the contract of their teammate Coby White.

Last season he appeared in 65 official games (all starts), posting the best averages of his NBA career.

His numbers were 20.2 points, 4.9 rebounds, 3.3 assists and one steal while shooting 39% from three-point range.
