The New York Knicks have confirmed the waiving of Bruce Brown.
Ultimately, the last available spot on the roster will be occupied by center James Wiseman due to the lack of interest in Pâcome Dadiet.

It should be noted that the Knicks were negotiating the departure of the Frenchman; however, they did not want to attach any draft picks to shed his contract.
The plan was to sign both. Both James Wiseman and Bruce Brown, though in the end it could not be realized.
Wiseman will have a new opportunity in the NBA under Mike Brown, serving as the third center behind Karl-Anthony Towns and Andre Drummond.
In the preseason he has appeared in four games with averages of 8 points and 4.2 rebounds in 11.5 minutes per game.
