Bad luck continues to plague the Oklahoma City Thunder this season.
Chet Holmgren will be sidelined for eight to ten weeks after suffering a small tear in the patellar tendon, according to ESPN.
Oklahoma City Thunder’s Chet Holmgren underwent treatment Friday to address a small patellar tendon tear and is expected to return to play in 8-to-10 weeks.

Holmgren’s absence represents a severe blow to the team’s future prospects, especially since two of his teammates, Jalen Williams and Cason Wallace, have also been sidelined for an extended period.
Williams suffered a serious injury against the Los Angeles Clippers, and Wallace was unable to finish the game after tearing the labrum in his right shoulder.
Both are expected to miss the remainder of the season and are anticipated to be available again next season.
Holmgren is averaging 12 points, 9.3 rebounds and 3 blocks in roughly 30 minutes of play per game.
