Kristaps Porzingis is reportedly contemplating retirement from the court, according to journalist Shams Charania.
It’s worth recalling that the Latvian still hasn’t debuted this year despite re-signing with the Warriors in the summer on a contract worth $40 million over two years.
Porzingis is dealing with a rare syndrome known as POTS that currently prevents him from playing and that he has carried since his time with the Boston Celtics.

His salary stands at $20 million plus a team option for another $20 million that they’re already trying to shed.
The aforementioned Shams noted that the Warriors would be negotiating his exit via a trade in search of a reinforcement for their rotation.
Additionally, since he is still not cleared to play, Porzingis would not have earned a single cent from the Warriors.
