The Charlotte Hornets have officially waived Rob Dillingham just a couple of days after trading him for Buddy Hield.
The 21-year-old player becomes an unrestricted free agent, free to sign with any other franchise, whether on a standard contract or a two-way deal.
It should be remembered that Dillingham was the No. 8 pick in the 2024 Draft, selected by the Spurs, but immediately traded to the Minnesota Timberwolves.
In three official seasons between Minnesota and Chicago, he has averaged 5.5 points, 1.6 rebounds and 2.1 assists in 13 minutes per game.
