With Jalen Duren’s future with the team still to be resolved, the Detroit Pistons have just taken a step.
According to reporter Jake Fischer, the Motor City franchise has guaranteed Paul Reed’s salary for the upcoming 2026-27 season.
The reserve center will earn $5.6 million.
Reed, 27, arrived as a free agent in 2024 after donning the Sixers’ colors for four campaigns.
Since then, he has appeared in 110 official games (10 starts) with averages of 6.3 points and 3.8 rebounds in 12.2 minutes per game.
