Jaylen Brown Denies Request for Trade to Milwaukee

October 27, 2026

Jaylen Brown has had to step out to weather the storm amid new rumors portraying him as the “movie villain” in Boston.

Recently the former player Brian Scalabrine labeled him as “capricious,” claiming an alleged request for a trade to the Milwaukee Bucks.

“All of that is 1000% false,” his representative emphasized.

The aforementioned Scalabrine also leaked supposed demands from Brown to the Celtics’ front office before the confirmation of his departure to Philadelphia.

“I don’t know what the ultimatum was, the demands or whatever. Do this and this not… And one of those things could have been: Give me a 140 million extension,” the former player noted.

Be that as it may, more snippets continue to surface about a supposed poor exit of Brown. Likewise, many have pointed out that his relationship with Jayson Tatum deteriorated over the past months.

“Jayson is an incredible guy,” Brown said.

“As I said, he has a wonderful family and is a great player, and he has an excellent public relations team. There’s no conflict between us, but surely there will be a bit of healthy rivalry between us,” he added.

It’s worth recalling that his exit ultimately ended up involving Paul George and two future first-round picks, along with two additional future second-round picks.
