The future of Jonathan Kuminga remains unresolved.
The player, a restricted free agent, would be seeking a contract of 25/30 million dollars per year that has not yet been put on the table.
And with virtually no real options to sign for that amount, his future seems to boil down to three possible destinations: the Cleveland Cavaliers, the Los Angeles Lakers and the Minnesota Timberwolves.
“There were reports that the Hawks were willing to bring Kuminga back on the veteran minimum, but the trades of Aaron Wiggins and Lu Dort have closed the doors for good,” said journalist Brett Siegel.
“There hasn’t been much rumor about Kuminga going to the Clippers… And the Bucks’ interest is a fallback one, meaning if everything else fails, that Peyton Watson or Bennedict Mathurin aren’t available,” he explained.
Kuminga played last year 16 official games with the Atlanta Hawks with averages of 12.3 points, 5.3 rebounds and 2.1 assists per game.
