Nikola Jokic is eligible to sign the largest contract in NBA history.
According to Yahoo! Sports, the Serbian center has reserved the option to extend his deal with the Nuggets for five years and $360 million.
The upcoming summer could see him become an unrestricted free agent if he declines his player option valued at $62.84 million for the 2027-28 season.
It is worth noting that to date he has amassed more than $300 million in salaries.
Jokic was selected by the Nuggets in the second round of the 2014 Draft, demonstrating remarkable scouting.
Since then he has played 810 official games with averages of 22.2 points, 11.5 rebounds and 7.5 assists in 32 minutes per game.
He was a ring champion in 2023 and Finals MVP; in addition to being a 3-time regular-season MVP and 8 All-Star selections, among many other accolades.
