The Detroit Pistons have exercised the team option on Ron Holland II’s rookie contract, according to journalist Keith Smith.
Holland II, who will be entering his third NBA season, locks in a salary of $11.49 million for the upcoming 2027-28 season.

Developed with the G League Ignite squad, he was drafted by Detroit with the fifth pick in the 2024 Draft.
Last season he appeared in 78 official games, posting averages of 8.2 points, 4 rebounds, 1.2 assists, and 1.2 steals in 19.9 minutes per night.
