The Memphis Grizzlies have recently agreed to waive Jordan Hawks, according to ESPN.
The young guard will be seeking a new NBA team once he clears the waivers period.
Hawks, barely 24 years old, was traded to the Tennessee-based franchise along with his teammate Micah Peavy on September 8.
In three seasons donning the Pelicans jersey he averaged 8 points, 2.3 rebounds and 1 assist in 18 minutes per game.
He had a guaranteed salary of 7 million dollars, and the Grizzlies reserved the qualifying offer of 10 million.
