Brandon Miller Looks Like a Superstar

October 27, 2026

Brandon Miller is giving glimpses of the potential superstar he could become in the NBA.

Last night against Washington, he demonstrated why Charlotte locked him into a five-year, $209 million extension.

Miller posted a new career-high scoring output with 39 points in the 110-103 victory over Washington, powering them to a 3-1 start to the season.

He also contributed 6 rebounds, 2 blocks, and 3 steals while shooting 15-of-28 from the field and 5-of-10 from long range.

“We’re a team trying to push a fast pace in our game,” he said.

“I think tonight we did a good job in that aspect. We managed to open up the defense and attack the matchups that suited us,” he highlighted.

Miller knocked down a crucial go-ahead floater in the final minute, in addition to two free throws.

With this showing against the Wizards, he etched his name in NBA history as the second-fastest player to reach 500 made three-pointers (in 170 games).

His teammate Naz Reid contributed 18 points and 12 rebounds, and veteran Grayson Allen added 15 points off the bench.

It should be noted that Charlotte connected just 1 of 11 from beyond the arc in the first quarter. However, they found their rhythm in the second, going 6 of 11 from long range.

They finished the game at 43% shooting from the floor and 31% from three-point distance.

In Washington, only his star Anthony Davis answered back with 29 points, 10 rebounds and a steal on an 11-for-22 shooting line.

“It makes me smile every time my teammates trust me. But at the same time I know I must trust them too,” Miller concluded.
