Harsh words from Draymond Green after Russell Westbrook announced his retirement as a player after 18 seasons in the NBA.
The Warriors forward exploded at everyone on his podcast, where he asserted that basketball fans «are disgusting» for how they have treated Westbrook all these years.
«Basketball fans, you all disgust me. Basketball fans are disgusting. And by the way, I’m a basketball fan as well, so you can put me in that same group. But basketball fans are disgusting».
«Because during these last 8 or 10 years, all this guy has heard is how bad he is, that he can’t shoot, that he inflates his statistics, or how he ruins teams».
