Dwight Powell will remain with the Dallas Mavericks for another season.
According to HoosHype.com, the veteran center has signed a new deal for 1 year and $3.8 million.
Michael Scotto has noted that $1 million of the $3.8 million is guaranteed, and that he will also receive an additional $500,000 if he ultimately makes the 2026 preseason roster.
It should be noted that Powell has worn the Mavericks’ jersey since 2014 after a rookie season that was largely unproductive with the Boston Celtics.
Since then he has played in 763 official games with averages of 6.5 points and 4.3 rebounds in 17.6 minutes per game.
