Jalen Pickett already has a new destination after leaving Denver. According to Michael Scotto, a journalist for Hoopshype, the guard has joined the Los Angeles Clippers on a two-way deal that will split his minutes between the NBA and the G League, giving him a real chance to keep contending for a spot in the league.

Pickett arrived there in 2023, when the Denver Nuggets selected him 32nd overall in the Draft to surround Jokic with an efficient shooter who, over these years, has not disappointed in that regard. With a 38.6% success rate from beyond the arc and standout performances such as the seven triples he knocked down in January in Philadelphia, he spent three seasons establishing himself as a rotation piece for Colorado until the 2025-26 season when he began averaging 16 minutes per game.
However, his physical limitations and the one-dimensional nature of his game reveal clear shortcomings, which led Denver not to extend the qualifying offer this summer and permit him to enter free agency without any restrictions. And, after seeing there was no effort to renew him, he has headed to Los Angeles.
