The Milwaukee Bucks continue to closely monitor the situation surrounding Jalen Duren, who has yet to determine his future with the Detroit Pistons.
According to journalist Sam Amick, the Bucks have recently shown strong interest in finalizing a trade for Duren, with Myles Turner entering as the primary asset in discussions.
If Domantas Sabonis no longer surfaced as a potential swap for Duren, Myles Turner would make perfect sense salary-wise and as a fitting defensive anchor for Detroit.
Turner is under contract this season valued at $26 million plus two additional years at $27.85 million and a player option of $29.11 million for the 2028-29 season.
“The Sacramento Kings have signaled their intention to pay him a maximum contract next summer. That said, there are at least two other teams with serious interest in Duren, and one of them is the Milwaukee Bucks,” Amick said.
In addition to Turner, the Bucks would need to include other players and/or salaries to balance the numbers.
Duren, at just 22 years old, averaged last season 19.5 points, 10.5 rebounds and two assists per game.
