That is, if he adheres to the timeline, he would not be back on the court until February, to tackle the final third of the season.
Sharpe comes off his first season averaging over 20 points, playing the majority of games as a starter. Although he appeared in only 50 games, also due to physical issues primarily in his calf.
Now, in a roster crowded with wings, he will have to start at a disadvantage to win a spot for potential playoffs. In the postseason, by the way, he started as a clear reserve and his minutes saw a notable decline in favor of more well-rounded profiles.
